Iani Osgueritchian is the editor of Escala.
Argentine, based in Spain. Since 2022 she has been a Korea.net Honorary Reporter, writing about Korean culture and its reach around the world. Her experience across Argentina, Spain and Korea shapes Escala’s point of view: not only observing destinations, but understanding how people live them.
Why Escala
“For years I have been telling Korea’s story to readers around the world. Along the way I found that the most interesting things are not on lists of places to see, but in the encounters: a Korean pilgrim on the Camino, a song understood without translation, a table that reminds you of another on the other side of the world. Escala was born to tell those stories, at their own rhythm.”
Transparency
Iani also designs cultural journeys for women in Europe and Korea through Yuko Bridge. Escala is editorially independent: any mention of or link to Yuko Bridge is always clearly disclosed, as are invitations and sponsored content.
